About Praxis Gathering:

This year at the Praxis Gathering we’re submerging into a theology and practice of Loving our Neighborhood. We’ll explore the unique possibilities in the urban, suburban and rural contexts. For the third annual Praxis Gathering, we will plummet deep into the hands-on-work of Loving our Neighborhood with unique emphasis on the challenges and opportunities facing rural, suburban and urban contexts. We’ve gathered some of the best on-the-ground church planters and practitioners to equip us in fresh practices for dwelling in these local places. Additionally we’re excited to offer Neighborhood Immersions, which are missional labs into real-time places in Philly.

The Praxis Gathering this year will be hosted at the Asian Arts Initiative, which is a newly-renovated space located in Philadelphia’s burgeoning Chinatown North neighborhood.Asian Arts Initiative is a multidisciplinary community arts center conveniently located near City Hall and public transportation, with nearby public parking lots and street parking available.
